Children who spend their day in the Bunny Room are developing in many ways
-- both physically and socially.
Children learn by doing and involve themselves in activities such as
block building, art, dramatic play, table toys, and library. The environment
invites the children to observe, to be active, to make choices and to experiment.
The 2 1/2 year old child believes everything belongs to them and at times finds
it difficult to share. The children are learning to take turns and to use their
words to express themselves. We enourage them to put their socks and shoes
on after nap and jackets on for outside time. It is by doing that children
learn, and we give them many opportunities to practice their new skills.
Being able to meet the needs and wants of the children is very important. We
would appreciate parents sharing information or concerns about their children
with us. We want to make this a wonderful experience for your young child.
